This is a nice set of 1873 antique Portrait Gallery of Eminent Men and Women of Europe & America Volumes I & II. In pretty good shape for their age as show with some minor wear to the exterior as well as some writing in pencil. Marbleized endpapers. They measure 9" x 11.25" First edition, thick quarto, pp. 640, 46 steel engraved portraits; pp. 638, 73 steel engraved portraits, extra engraved title for each volume.
