Description
Album measures 7 x 4 1//4 inches with 36 entries and messages. The messages are dated 1875-1893 from family and friends, mostly it would appear, from the Kingston area. The book belonged to M. Westbrook Snyder, who went by Wes. City directories indicate that he was a clerk and salesman during the time; working and residing at Washington Ave. and North Front Street addresses. The 1901 City Directory lists him as residing at 16 John St. Kingston and with Lowe & Snyder Shoe Store, which was at 41 North Front Street, Kingston. Thank you.
