Super Absorbent Wound Dressing Soft Bandage Details: Ino Fiber Plus A particularly absorbent bandage with a soft silicone layer Product description InoFiber Plus, an advanced technology super-absorbent wound care dressing, consists of an air-permeable and water-resistant non-woven layer, an absorbent intermediate layer, a fast exudate-absorbing fabric layer and a soft silicone layer in contact with the wound. The absorbent layer made of polymer fibers is able to absorb a particularly large amount of wound exudate, forms a gel and isolates it from the wound environment. The adhesive layer of soft silicone in contact with the wound ensures easy dressing application and non-traumatic removal. The dressing will not lose its adhesiveness if it needs to be lifted during repositioning. The multi-layer structure of the dressing allows fluid control and creates an optimal moist wound environment, which leads to faster wound closure and can help reduce the risk of maceration of the wound and surrounding skin. Indications InoFiber Plus Super Absorbent Dressing is intended for the treatment of moderately to profusely exuding wounds, such as: bedsores, leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, leg wounds caused by lymphatic disorders, skin graft areas and open surgical wounds. Under the supervision of healthcare professionals, the dressing can be used to cover infected wounds with frequent wound assessment and appropriate antibacterial therapy. InoFiber Plus can be used under pressure bandages. Contraindications Do not use this dressing on a wound that is dry or has little exudate, on the eyes, mucous membranes or in wound cavities, as absorption will cause the dressing to swell. Do not use on third degree burns. InoFiber Plus cannot be used by individuals with a known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the product's ingredients. References for use Wash the wound as usual. Dry the surrounding skin thoroughly. Choose the correct size of dressing to leave enough space to the edge of the wound. Do not cut the bandage, the bandage covering must remain intact. Remove the protective films and apply the adhesive side directly to the wound. The dressing can be used as a primary and as a secondary dressing. When using InoFiber Plus as a primary dressing, it must be in close contact with the wound bed to absorb wound exudate. InoFiber Plus Super Absorbent Dressing is adhesive, but may require additional fixation with a light to medium strength bandage. Change frequency The dressing can be left on the wound for several days, depending on the wound, the condition of the surrounding skin and the intensity of the wound exudation. Initially, the dressing may need to be changed daily, but InoFiber Plus can be left on for up to 7 days. Storage and waste management Store at room temperature in a dry environment, away from light. The dressing should be disposed of as normal clinical waste according to local regulations.
