The photo album features a full family of grandparents, parents, and children living together. A large amount of the photographs are artistically cut into shapes such as circles, diamonds, and rectangles with rounded corners. There are several pictures of the small town they lived in with dirt streets and open fields. Most of the photos feature the family standing together smiling in front of their home or visiting different locations like the beach and the city. Some of the locations include Cherry Beach and Walpole Island in Canada, Algonac Michigan; and Chicago. Several pictures are of the woman making silly faces and running around the woods. Some pictures are of the women playing baseball with makeshift bases and outfits. There are also pictures of a woman with her hair down and out of a bun, dancing around in a small park. Some of the photos that feature the men in the family show them with their automobiles driving around. There are also a couple of pictures of young men with possible gay overtones exploring the city, holding hands, and with one image where two boys are seemingly about to kiss. Many of the photos show the young children and babies of the family playing together or with their grandparents. Some of the photos that are taken on the women holding their children are very aesthetically pleasing and well-posed. The last few pictures show some of the younger family members at a senior picnic for the Class of 1915. An extensive collection of very aesthetically pleasing images surrounding a family's life from 1906 through 1916 captured in photographs.
