From the "Movie Monster Series", the first King Ghidorah is now available as a soft vinyl figure in a "fantastic color" version! King Ghidorah (1964) "Phantom Color Version" is now available in the popular soft vinyl figure "Movie Monster Series" with realistic modeling and coloring! Based on the motif of "King Ghidorah (1964)" from the movie "The Three Monsters: The Greatest Battle on Earth", the figure has been miraculously sculpted in the three-color version that was said to have existed when the movie was first produced! As a special item to celebrate the 60th anniversary year of King Ghidorah, the first King Ghidorah that first appeared in the Godzilla series will be made into a soft vinyl product in the coloring that only those in the know are aware of. Sculpting The figure is approximately 200mm in height and 265mm in length, in order to reproduce the power of King Ghidorah facing Godzilla. The figure is sculpted with attention to detail and nuance, including the large, gently curved wings and the three heads, each with its own expression. Details In order to reproduce the characteristics of the first Kingdra and the image unique to this coloring, we pursued the reproduction of details from both the sculpting and coloring aspects. Large Wings The distinctive coloring of the large wings is reproduced using a gradation of colors to create a vivid three-color expression. Face The three-necked face that symbolizes King Ghidorah is sculpted with different expressions one by one. The mouth can be reproduced in different angles and open/close positions. Abdomen Brush painting is used on the abdomen to accentuate the shading of the finely sculpted scaly details. What is King Ghidorah (1964)? King Ghidorah is a space super-monster that appeared in the 1964 film "The Three Great Monsters: The Greatest Battle on Earth. It is said to have such destructive power that it is believed to have destroyed civilization in modern times. In the film, it awoke from a meteorite that fell on Japan and engaged in a fierce battle to the death with the three major monsters Godzilla, Mothra, and Rodan. There is an anecdote that in the early days of King Ghidorah's production, there was a tri-color version of King Ghidorah that was mainly dark blue, and this product reproduces the coloring of that version.
