Bottom ends of spines chipped; tops also damaged, but less so. Panels of vols. 7 and 8 cracking off, but still weakly attached. Old inscriptions on endpapers. Interiors tanned, foxed, and in some spots dampstained. However, interior bindings secure across the set.
